About VoIP Hardware

AcePBX™ is a comprehensive office telephone service based on VoIP technology. It replaces your inflated telco bill and outdated office telephone system with one streamlined and cost-effective solution. The service requires no phone lines and no bulky, expensive equipment.

Advanced system functionality is paired with slick and modern voice over IP phones (stations) which connect to any high-speed Internet connection (AceDSL^® or Acecape SHDSL are recommended but not required). The phones offer a number of convenient features, such as Call Lists, Call Transfer, Conference, One-Touch Voice-Mail access and Contact Lists, just to name a few.

Keep your Existing Telephone Number

You can transfer (port) your existing telephone number to AcePBX™ and disconnect multiple redundant land lines. There is no charge for this service and there is no limit to how many phone calls can be received simultaneously by one telephone number.

Unlimited Simultaneous Calls

Without physical lines, the number of simultaneous conversation channels is limited only by available bandwidth (approximately 80Kbps per channel). Multi-line IP Phones (stations) allow you to conduct up to 6 simultaneous conversations on each station.

Location Independent

Connect your phone to a high-speed internet line anywhere in the World and receive or make calls as if you were at your desk. Your IP phone can work behind your corporate firewall or your home cable/DSL router.

Universal Extension Dialing

Dial your colleagues by extension regardless of their physical location. You may have multiple mailboxes associated with each station, allowing employees who work in shifts to share the same telephone. You may also choose virtual extensions for part-time employees or employers working off-site. You may choose two-, three- or four-digit extensions.

Unified Messaging

Voice messages forwarded to user e-mail with Caller ID and audio file attached.

Customizable Menus and Hunt Groups

A web interface allows you to manage your menus and voice prompts, activate and deactivate users in Hunt groups and much more.

Simultaneous Ring

Your number or extension may ring at multiple locations on IP, mobile or land-line phones.

Conditional Forwarding

Forward your calls to an alternate number when you are Busy or Unavailable, or on a Permanent basis.

Polycom Soundpoint IP501/601, features:

This phone is a cost-effective choice for most common office applications with moderate-to-high call volume. You can purchase Polycom phones from Acecape at very competitive rates. Volume discounts are available.

Cisco 7960-series IP telephones gained a wide acceptance among early adopters of VoIP technology. Presently, they are being replaced by other brands that are less expensive and are more user-friendly. We do not sell Cisco IP phones, but we would be happy to configure 7940 or 7960 models for use with AcePBX if customers desire to purchase them from a third-party supplier.

AcePBX™ phones do not store any vital system information, such as Auto Attendant, Interactive Voice Response (IVR) menus and Voice Mail. The brain of the system is hosted at a data center. As a result, your phone system is up, even if power or Internet connection at your office is down. With unlimited ability to forward your extensions to outside numbers, we eliminate the last reservation a decision-maker in any organization may have about adopting VoIP technology.
